My faith tradition is Catholic, though I work with people from various traditions, and no  tradition -- people who are just seeking. 

I am grounded in Benedictine spirituality -- a former Benedictine monk for many years. I have studied widely in theology and spirituality, and received my certificate in spiritual direction from the Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in Lino Lakes, MN. 

I also have a PhD in English literature and was previously a professor of English. Literature informs my spirituality, as does nature, community, centering prayer, and lectio divina.
